Friday Maths in Room 3

Today we had enough iPads so we all could go onto our individual programmes on Mathletics.  We are all doing our "core work" and later on we will get to play Live Mathletics!

Yay our basic facts is improving :)

ANZAC Crosses

Room 3 were asked to make up 30 white crosses with the names of soldiers who went to World War I and gave the ultimate sacrifice.   These have been placed by our grotto so that they will not be forgotten.

Mathletics

Today we starting using Mathletics to aid our maths programme!  We are so engrossed in creating our "profiles" and earning our first certificates.

Frobisher

We (along with the other classes) created some artworks for Frobisher Interior Design's Grand Opening in Manchester Street.  We were given some AMAZING material samples to help us create our "rooms"

Swimming

We have just had our annual swimming lessons.  We have learnt many new skills including boating skills - how to wear a life jacket properly and how to enter a boat from the water and exit a boat as well as survival skills in the water.  We also wore our pj's one day so we would know how hard it is to swim in clothes.
